Heath Ledger's legacy will likely include a messy estate fight

The tragedy of the young actor's death is likely to be compounded by fighting over his estate.  This looks to have the classic indications of a messy dispute, including:

1. A child born out of wedlock after he wrote his will.
2. Uncertainty over the amount of the estate.  He was most certainly worth much more than the $145,000 early court filings suggest.
3. Allegations that Ledger's father, named the executor, has a history of mismanaging estate assets.
